An incredible weekend

I had a wonderful weekend. I got to hold a golden eagle, watch eagles and hawks attack rabbits, foxes, pigeons, a teenage boy, other eagles, and a chained wolf. I went on a horse trek through the mountains and got stuck in a hail blizzard and walked for ages in pouring rain with soaked-through clothes. I played with a shoebox of puppies. I got stuck on the back of a stubborn gluttonous horse and had to be rescued by Mike and an eagle hunter. I discovered a new favorite Kyrgyz song- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sC-Ui0N6COQ. I decided I will start Kyrgyz lessons in December because it sounds so cool. I got my hand scratched up on one of the millions of thorn bushes we walked through while riding horses across a steep, brush-covered mountain. I saw many mules and decided that I want to buy one. I will write more when I've sorted out my thoughts more, and dried all my still-soaking-wet clothes from last night's trek. For now, you can read my friends' posts about this weekend:

Enjoy for now! I'll get pictures up as soon as possible, but my camera battery died midday through the first day, so I'll be stealing my pics from other people.
